Project Kick-Off

The City of Mountain View held a Project Kick-Off meeting on October 24, 2024, bringing together key department staff and consultants to launch the Downtown Precise Plan Update. The Project Team reviewed the project background, key objectives, and recent and ongoing development and capital improvement projects.

City department staff provided insights on existing conditions, ongoing projects, and key issues and constraints related to land use, mobility and transportation, infrastructure, and economic and market conditions. Team members shared feedback and ideas to help align project expectations and outcomes with ongoing efforts.

Following the meeting, the team toured the Downtown Precise Plan Area to familiarize themselves with the site, identify potential opportunities, and consider parallel development efforts that could influence the plan.
