Draft Plan in Review - Coming soon!

City staff are finalizing the draft Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan, which will serve as a roadmap for maintaining and enhancing Mountain View’s parks, open spaces, and recreation programs over the next decade. The plan builds on extensive community input and reflects the City’s vision for an inclusive, sustainable, and connected parks and recreation system.

The draft plan will be available on this webpage during the week of Nov. 3, 2025. Posting it in advance will allow the community time to review and share feedback before the Parks and Recreation Commission discusses the draft and provides input at its special meeting on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at 6 p.m.

The meeting will be held in a hybrid format—in person at the Mountain View Community Center and virtually via Zoom. Community members are invited to attend and share their feedback as the City works toward a final plan that reflects Mountain View’s priorities and values.
