The first draft of the Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan is available for public review. The Plan outlines the vision, goals, and actions that will guide Mountain View’s parks, open space, and recreation programs over the next decade.

This first draft is a content-only version of the Plan. It includes all written sections, such as community input, analyses, and strategies and action plan, but graphic design, layouts, and visuals will be added later in the draft review process.
Share Your Feedback
Your input matters! Please visit the Draft Plan Input tab (above) to share your comments on the draft Plan. Feedback on this draft will be accepted through Dec. 14.
Upcoming Public Meeting
An updated draft, incorporating feedback from the community and the recent Parks and Recreation Commission, will be presented to the City Council on Jan. 27. Staff expects that this revised draft will be published two weeks prior to the meeting. Once published, the community will be invited to provide feedback on the revised draft again.
